Last updated: February 14, 2026

Podzester is a podcast player that provides AI-powered transcripts, chapters, quotes, and song extraction. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

The short version: we collect very little, we don't track you, and we don't sell your data to anyone.

If the app encounters an error, it automatically sends a crash report containing the error message, stack trace, device type, and a random session identifier. These reports help us fix bugs. They do not contain personal information beyond your user identifier (if you are logged in).

Signup Form

If you request access via the signup form, we collect your name, email, and referral source. This information is stored in our database to process your request.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon, with connections encrypted via TLS. The API runs on Cloudflare Workers with HTTPS enforced on all connections.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you would like your data deleted, contact us and we will remove your account and all associated data (stars, bookmarks, collections, listen history, and preferences) from our systems.
