By accessing or using Podzester ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to determine whether content qualifies as a publicly available podcast and to decline to process any feed or episode that does not meet this standard.
You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
Access to AI-powered features (transcripts, chapters, quotes, mentions, and playlists) requires a paid subscription. Podzester offers multiple subscription tiers, each with a monthly processing quota. Current pricing and tier details are available within the app. We may change pricing or tier structure with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
Each subscription tier includes a monthly allowance of AI processing hours. Processing costs for each podcast are shared among all subscribers to that podcast. Podzester maintains a curated catalog of recommended podcasts that do not count against your processing quota. Details of your current usage are available in the app's Settings.
Access to AI-generated content (transcripts, chapters, quotes, mentions, and playlists) is available while your subscription is active. If you cancel your subscription, AI features will be paused until you resubscribe. Core podcast player features — including playback, downloads, search, bookmarks, and your podcast library — remain available regardless of subscription status. Your data is never deleted when you cancel; resubscribing restores full access immediately.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed through Apple's App Store. All billing is subject to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases.
Refund requests are handled through Apple's App Store refund process in accordance with their policies.
The Service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not use the Service for commercial purposes, including but not limited to reselling, redistributing, or commercially exploiting any content or features provided by the Service.
Each subscription tier includes a specific monthly processing quota. When you reach your quota, processing for podcasts where you are the sole subscriber will be paused until the next billing cycle. You may upgrade your tier at any time for additional processing hours. Podcasts shared with other subscribers continue processing normally regardless of your individual quota status.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate transcripts, chapter breakdowns, quotes, mentions, playlists, and other content derived from podcast audio. This content is produced automatically by machine learning models.
Content generated by the Service may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any generated content, including but not limited to:
When accuracy matters, refer to the original audio.
We do not manually review, edit, or curate generated content. The presence of any content in the Service does not constitute our endorsement of its accuracy or the views expressed therein.
Podcast content (audio, show notes, artwork) remains the intellectual property of its respective creators and rights holders. Podzester does not claim ownership of any podcast content.
Content derived from podcast audio is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. Sharing content through features built into the Service is permitted. You agree not to:
The Service, including its design, software, algorithms, and branding, is our intellectual property. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described herein.
You retain ownership of any content you create within the Service (collections, notes, bookmarks). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content as necessary to provide the Service.
If you are a podcast creator or rights holder and believe your content should not be processed by Podzester, you may contact us at [email protected]. We will review removal requests and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We may remove any content from the Service at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to:
